On 30th May, we held our annual Charity Day, a fantastic day of fun, friendly competition, and fundraising. The event was enjoyed by everyone, with plenty of team spirit and some very impressive performances throughout the day. After a closely contested competition, congratulations went to John Jackson, who emerged as the overall winner.
As part of his victory, John selected The Eden Dora Trust as the recipient of the funds raised. The charity provides support for children affected by encephalitis and their families, and we are delighted to announce that an incredible £400 was raised during the event to support this important cause.
Following the competition, everyone gathered to enjoy a delicious BBQ, providing a great opportunity to relax and socialise. The celebrations then continued into the evening with a lively game of music bingo, which proved to be a huge hit and rounded off a thoroughly enjoyable day.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and helped make the day such a success. Your generosity, enthusiasm, and support enabled us to raise valuable funds for a worthy cause while creating a memorable day for all involved. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed and helped make this year's Charity Day another great success.
